MOONG DAL WITH PEAS (MUTTER)
Ingredients:
· Moong dal ---- one cup
· Peas (Mutter )---- one cup
· Oil ---- one cup
· Onion ---- one chopped
· Garlic, and ginger paste ---- one table-spoon
· Tomato ---- one chopped
· Red chili ---- one table-spoon
· Green chili(paste) ---- two table-spoon
· Green chili(normal) ---- two table-spoon
· Lemon ---- one table-spoon
· Salt ---- one table-spoon
· Cumin ---- one table-spoon
· Coriander powder ---- one table-spoon
· Garam masala for Garnish ---- one table-spoon
· Green fresh coriander ---- half cup
· Lemon ---- one table-spoon
Recipe:
Take cooking pot and pour the oil. When the oil is hot, put the onions into the pot and fry it for 2 minutes. After that, put the garlic and ginger paste and cook for 1 minute. Now put tomato and all the ingredients, and fry them. After that put half-cup of water and cover the pot. After covering the pot, steam the pot for 5 minutes on medium flame. After 5 minutes of steaming the pot, now you have to put a bunch of green peas and fry it for 2 minutes. Then put the moong dal in pot and fry it for 2 minutes.
Now put two cups of water and steam it for 15 minutes. After doing that, take off the cover and fry it for 5 minutes and then put the lemon juice and 2 green chilies. Finally, fry it for 2 minutes and turn off the stove. Now, our moong dal with peas is cooked and ready, we can garnish it with garam masala and green coriander, and we can now serve it with green yogurt chutney.
